Our Journey

Our Journey

After completing his studies in event management and gaining valuable hands-on experience by being a part of multiple prestigious events in London, Our Director, Mr. Abhinav Budhiraja returned to India in 2008 with a vision. He had seen what well-run, polished, and professional event management looked like abroad, and he wanted to bring that same level of excellence to his hometown of Jalandhar. But upon returning, Abhinav faced a harsh reality. His search for event management companies that worked with the efficiency, hygiene, perfection, and professionalism he had come to expect led to a dead end. That’s when ‘Evento India’ was born.

One of the company's earliest achievements was organizing one of the largest immigration and job fairs in Punjab, a groundbreaking event that caught the attention of organizations far and wide. Soon, *Evento India* was called upon by the Spanish Cultural Center in India and other Spanish-speaking countries to manage several high-profile events.

Some of These Notable Projects Included:

  • The inauguration of the Spanish Cultural Center in New Delhi, which was graced by the visit of the Vice President of Spain.
  • A gala dinner for the European Union.
  • The prestigious Poetry Award event in collaboration with the Embassy of Colombia.
  • A poetry reading session by the renowned Argentine poet Juan German, in collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico.
  • The Spanish Film Festival, which drew huge crowds to *Instituto Cervantes* in New Delhi.
  • The launch of *Vislumbres* Magazine, supported by the Ibero-American embassies.
  • The grand celebration of FIFA at the Spanish Cultural Center, hosted by the Embassy of Spain.
  • Inauguration of a Picasso exhibition at *Instituto Cervantes* in New Delhi.

These milestones established *Evento India* as a leading event management company, not just in India but on the international stage as well.

Abhinav’s journey came full circle when he was awarded a scholarship to visit Spain, where he became part of the organizing team for various events conducted by *Casa de la India*—the Indian Cultural Center in Spain. During this time, he coordinated major events such as Diwali at Casa de la India and Gandhi Jayanti at Peace Park, further solidifying his international reputation.

Adding another feather to his cap, Abhinav expanded his entrepreneurial reach by opening a party store called *Party Hunterz* in Jalandhar. Over time, it evolved into *Partylicious*, becoming a one-stop shop for all party needs in the city.

What started as a search for professional event management in Jalandhar became a venture that connected cultures and celebrated occasions worldwide, marking the beginning of an extraordinary legacy.
